MAC OS X - download the zipped package, run the package, and run FreePlanner.  FREEPLANNER WILL NOT RUN UNLESS YOU HAVE TOTAL ACCESS TO THE \Applications\FreePlanner DIRECTORY.  If you have a problem running FreePlanner, that is the first thing you should check.

Also, FreePlanner is PROCESSOR DEPENDENT.  That means that the Intel version will not run on the PowerPC Mac and vice versa.  

WINDOWS (2000, XP, VISTA) - download the install program and run it.  Then do this:

Click on Programs

Click on All Programs

Navigate to FreePlanner

Click on FreePlanner

Navigate to FreePlanner program entry, and

Right click on the FreePlanner program

Select Properties

Under Properties, type “c:\program files\FreePlanner” in the Start in: field

Click OK

Run FreePlanner

FAILURE TO FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS WILL RESULT IN GETTING MANY BLANK WINDOWS WHEN RUNNING FREEPLANNER.

FREEPLANNER WILL NOT RUN UNLESS YOU HAVE TOTAL ACCESS TO THE \Program Files\FreePlanner DIRECTORY.
